Dennis van Akkeren was Born in 1982 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He lives and works in Middelburg, the Netherlands. Graduating in 2009 as a master in cultural and social design his passion in the art of creating continues into photography and film.

Under the alternative name DENNIS JACOB, named after his great grandfather, Dennis works as an internationally artist mostly for commercial brands in the hair- and fashion industry for over 11 years. DENNIS JACOB diverse practice translates into a colorful spectrum with a lot of contrast focused on the diversity in society.

The films and photography of DENNIS JACOB are used in (catwalk) shows and presentations. He has been allowed to work in Royal Carré Theater, Fashion Week Amsterdam, EYE Film Theater, Paradiso, Mediapark Hilversum, Light Factory Haarlem, Central Studios Utrecht, Spant! Bussum and at other top locations.
